Farming is a family affair! Autumn, Tyler, and the kids, age 9 and 3, all pitch in to do their part. 

Autumn grew up at Lake Tahoe (elevation 6,200 ft) and was known to grow snow peas and volunteer at the local plant nursery. She later worked at Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply in marketing and management for 6 years before leaving to be a stay-at-home-mom. Now she enjoys tending to all the plants and animals on the farm as well as spinning and weaving alpaca fleece. She is completing her Biodynamic Farming training at Rudolf Steiner College and is a member of the Foothill Fiber Guild.

Tyler grew up gardening with his parents right up the road from here in Rough & Ready. He loved having pet ducks most of all! He worked at Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply for nearly 6 years in marketing and technology during which time he developed a keen interest in the work of Joel Salatin and Mark Shepard. He enjoys welding and woodcarving, both great assets to the the farm. His latest project has been applying his knowledge in programming to farm automation, an exciting work in progress!
